Five intimate sessions full of opportunities to connect in community with the medicine of flowers.
The Earth laughs in flowers. Sings in flowers. Plays in flowers. Gives beauty in flowers.
When we choose to be present, we get to laugh, sing, play and make beauty with the flowers too.
The Flowering Path is an opportunity to tune in to the frequency of flowers and begin to align ourselves to their vibration of love, generosity and joy.
Our journey will include…
Flower medicine & crafts: From the flowers in the garden we will make a flower water (AKA hydrosol) in a copper stil, a flower essence, and flower-dyed silk altar cloths
Circle time: Flowers grow best together and so do humans. We will get ample opportunity to be in circle, council and share how the Earth is speaking to us.
Earth-based Ritual: we will co-create ritual together to be in reciprocity with the Earth and her flowers, make flower altars and practice giving and receiving flower blessings
Flower Gardening: we will learn about organically growing, tending and caring for flowers
Flower Council: We will commune with the flowers, receive the messages they have for us and carry their medicine forth into our lives.
Flower songs: We will sing to the flowers, catch song from the flowers and weave our voices in harmony to honor the life giving song of the Earth.

Maayan Greenheart
Maayan is a mother of two beautiful children, a child of the Earth and a devotee of the Divine Mother. She tends an abundant garden where she lives at SunSong, a land-based community that she helped co-found 7 years ago. She is a ritualist, song carrier, kitchen witch, and loves to create spaces for people to connect deeply to themselves, the Earth and each other.
Maayan is a devoted gardener of flowers, food and medicine. For the past five years she has been cultivating a practice of giving flower blessings to mark and honor thresholds that we humans cross in this life.
Her facilitation style is grounded, connective and personal. She has a genuine curiosity and love for people and values creating spaces that are welcoming, honest, and safe.
Full of aliveness and connected to her emotions, Maayan embodies & inspires celebration of life’s miracles while holding space for the grief that comes with honoring the tragedies of our times. She is here to support our collective healing & the remembering of the sacredness of life.
She's human...has good days and bad days, feels all kinds of emotions, and makes mistakes.
And she's committed to growing, like the rose.
Super Special Guest Teacher
Mary Porter Kearns
Mary Porter Kerns is an author, amateur naturalist, gardener, artist, weaver and a voice for the flowers. Her upcoming book, The Flowers Are Speaking: Listening to Nature’s Ancient Wisdom, is forthcoming spring of 2027 with Tarcher Penguin Group. It is an intimate journey into the dance of flowers and human beings—weaving together science, history, and earth-based mysticism to offer a radical vision of how we can best reconnect with the ancient guidance of the earth.
With Mary at the Flowering Path, we will explore our entwined evolutionary love story with flowers and learn about their ancient intelligence so different from our own. A guided meditation will be shared & following your intuition and imagination, you will open up to receive a personal message from your flower. Group sharing afterwards deepens the experience as more connections and aha moments arise.
Learn more about Mary on her website here.

We are aware of the effects of systemic racism and inequality in our society. Because of this, we have limited accessibility scholarships for People of the Global Majority** and other need-based individuals.
This program is welcome to and celebratory of all human expressions of gender, sexual orientation, and ethnicity. We hope to create a safe space for humans of any expression. To this end, as a community and as individuals, we are open to feedback as to how we can improve, learn, and grow.
**Global majority refers to: people who are Black, Asian, Brown, dual-heritage, indigenous to the global south, and/or have been racialised as 'ethnic minorities.'
